Jupiter

Jupiter is the God of thunder and the sky. He also serves the King of the Gods watching over all of the Roman Gods. He is the son of Saturn, who he overthrow to gain control of heavens from the Titans. The Roman worshiped him more than any other culture that came before adding to their sense of supremacy. The planet Jupiter is the largest and most powerful within our solar system so it was fitting that the Greeks would first name the planet after their most powerful god Zeus and the Romans followed suit. This is a good decision because Jupiter is such and large and powerful planet and holds many moons in its orbit just like Jupiter does with the rest of the gods. Jupiter is also one of the most famous and favorited planets by people just like Jupiter is to fans of ancient mythology. There no betting name for a planet of such magnitude and power.
