Uranus

Uranus is an older god in Greek mythology and is associated with the Roman god Caelus. He was the son and husband of Gaia. He is the god of the sky or heavens. Uranus is an appropriate name for a planet because he was the god of the sky and the heavens meaning that he had a very important role. He was one of the planets but people believed that he would protect them. The name is important relating their protection because they had believed that the sky was a brass dome stunned with stars. This is a good name for the planet because they believed he was the sky and the heavens. Uranus is the second farthest sun from the earth taking it a very long time to go around the earth. This resembles how Uranus is an older god because it takes 84 years to go around the sun once. It is also one of the brightest planets in our solar system even with it being so far away. It is almost visible to the naked why and this fits his name because people see it as one of the stars that are brighter than the rest. Being the color blue it resembles the sky and it being farther away shows how it is a place to where people will want to go otherwise called heaven.
